Thanks to Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged that's exactly what I think every time there's a freeze frame at the end of an episode XD They always look pretty though

Come on, The first time I saw a Freeze Frame ep, was the Kanto episode where Ash and Co had to stop a volcano from erupting.

The budget was so small back then, that they had to do a drawing like that every few secs to make it seem like the ep is still continuing.

I love end-of-episode or dramatic freeze frames. ^o^; They're pretty! Though yeah, they shouldn't be used in the middle of battles or such scenes.
